I'm here at the office again trying to think of what to write about. It has been a good week...nothing too exciting. Aaron started court this week, we finally got ourselves signed up at a gym, and we celebrated Valentine's Day by going out to eat with Elsie (who, by the way, is getting harder to take out).
We did get to go down to Tri-Cities on Friday to hang out with Jared and Lindsay and their kids. We went out to eat at a nummy Mexican restaurant and then played a little Nintendo Wii. Oh, side note! I was reminded once again while playing the Nintendo of how Jared used to charge us to play his Nintendo back when we were kids, and I was actually dumb enough to pay him. It was ridiculous. Apparently Angie just snuck it when Jared wasn't home, but not me! What a mean older brother...but smart! Anyway, the Wii is really fun and we had a good time playing with Carson. After the kids went to bed we played Ticket to Ride. Around 11:00 p.m. Elsie decided that she was done sleeping and woke up crying. It took us about 2 hours to get her to fall back asleep. She wouldn't sleep in the pack-n-play, so we finally put her in bed with us. Oh, it was a miserable night. She had a cough and Aaron and I were so uncomfortable. The worst part about it was that I had made a picture appointment for her on Saturday morning. I was so worried that she was going to be grouchy...and she was! We went to the mall to get the pictures and she wasn't having it. They suggested we give it a try a little later in the day, so we walked around and ate some lunch. Then she was better and we ended up getting some cute pictures. We did a little shopping...mostly for Elsie...and headed back to ML.
Oh, and Elsie has two molars coming in right now also. Poor baby!

Wow, I know it has been forever since I've blogged. My life is not the same without internet at home. We have a phone with internet access that we can use for some things, but it's not very efficient for blogging. Anyway, I finally made it in to my uncle's office to use his internet.
All in all, we are doing well here. It is finally warming up, so we are happy about that. Reality will probably set in a little bit next week for me when Aaron has to actually work and go to court. I guess I'll have to make some friends!
Aaron, Elsie, and I have had a nice couple weeks together while we've been getting settled. We got his office set up at my mom's house and put a bunch of files together for the cases he's been assigned so far. He actually has his first court stuff next week. But, in the meantime, we've just been having fun. We've been addicted to Ticket to Ride...and played it just about every afternoon with my Grandma. I must say that I am the ultimate champion at the game...I'm unstoppable.
This last weekend we went to Pasco for Chloe's blessing. My dad was in town for it, and Mitch also flew in from NY for the week. We've been having fun visiting with him and eating a bunch of crappy food. Elsie still hasn't decided if she likes having Mitch around. Sometimes she looks at him and gets all sad, and then other times she's smiley and happy. I think she has issues with men!

Wrigley and Murphy have been playing together all the time. They run around outside and through the fields around the house. I'm glad they both have someone to play with.
One of Elsie's favorite things to do at my mom's house is to stand up on the couches and look out her front windows. It's the only time that she actually tries to stand. She could do it all day long! By the way, can you see the sweet mullet Elsie has...when I get it curly it's actually pretty cute.
One day Aaron was out shoveling snow and was making Elsie laugh so hard by dancing across the window. I caught the tale end of her laughing, and if you look really hard you can see Aaron's sweet dancing skills.

Elsie has this cute little cell phone that lights up and makes sounds when you push buttons and open it. She has been loving it! She has even learned to put it up to her ears like she's talking.
Just a couple cute pictures from today. She has discovered her tongue lately and is always doing funny things with it.

All in all, we are doing well here. It is finally warming up, so we are happy about that. Reality will probably set in a little bit next week for me when Aaron has to actually work and go to court. I guess I'll have to make some friends!

Elsie was so miserably sick for about a week, but she's finally back to her normal self. She had a bad cold and an ear infection, so she's been on antibiotics that have helped.
We are getting settled in at my mom's and have taken over just about every room in her house. Aaron is finally officially licensed, so they can start assigning cases to him. We don't have internet at my mom's, so I have to come to the office where she works to blog...kind of a pain, but I won't let you all down. :)

Happy Birthday to Grandpa Wise! We love you.

We are Washingtonians!
We made the move up to WA this last Saturday. I'll write more later...I just wanted to write something so everyone wouldn't think I had dropped off the face of the earth.

Birthday Pics!
You wouldn't know it by looking at most of these pictures, but Elsie was not the happiest little baby on her birthday. For some reason she decided she didn't need naps that day and was a bit of a grump. Plus, we didn't do the cake and presents until later in the evening and that's never the best time of day for her. Even though she was a bit on edge, we had a great time celebrating her first birthday. Our neighbors Troy and Stephanie and their two boys, Brad and Seth, came over. She got some fun toys, a couple books, and new outfit.
We had already sold our kitchen table, so I had to decorate and cover up the green card table. It actually turned out pretty cute. Elsie was very afraid of the balloons. She got really mad and cried whenver we played with them or got them close to her. Weird!
Again, this was one of the few smiles of the night...I don't know how Grandma managed to catch them on camera.
I don't know why I put this one in there. Probably because it is one of the only somewhat decent pictures of me and I wanted to show I was there.
We had to sing happy birthday three times because I couldn't get the video camera working. She liked that part.
Daddy was trying to convince her to try some cake and frosting. She wasn't going for it!
I love the look on her face. She's not so sure about the cake. I didn't think she would really dig into it because she is very picky about what she'll touch.
"Oh, how disgusting! I am not touching that."
She was much happier just sitting with Grandma and Grandpa. She loves the attention!
We did give her a little bath after to clean off some of the frosting in her hair. That was her favorite part of the evening, I think.

Happy Birthday to my little girl!
I'll have more time to post more later, but I just had to say Happy Birthday to Elsie. She is one year old today! We are going to have a fun day, so I will post some pictures later. We are so lucky and blessed to have her in our lives. She brings such joy and happiness to our lives.

Anyone want to buy a house?!
We are getting so frustrated with trying to sell our house. We are moving in two weeks and still haven't had any bites on the house. Since we've had it on the market in September, only one person has come to look at it and a few realtors. It's very depressing. We still haven't decided what we are going to do if it doesn't sell soon. Our contract with the realtor ends at the end of the month, and Aaron thinks we should try to do a lease option with someone at that point. I guess that would be fine with me, but then we wouldn't be able to get the equity out of the house to get into another one up in Moses Lake. Oh, this is so annoying. I just had to vent!
