My week in a nutshell

I'm here at the office again trying to think of what to write about. It has been a good week...nothing too exciting. Aaron started court this week, we finally got ourselves signed up at a gym, and we celebrated Valentine's Day by going out to eat with Elsie (who, by the way, is getting harder to take out).

We did get to go down to Tri-Cities on Friday to hang out with Jared and Lindsay and their kids. We went out to eat at a nummy Mexican restaurant and then played a little Nintendo Wii. Oh, side note! I was reminded once again while playing the Nintendo of how Jared used to charge us to play his Nintendo back when we were kids, and I was actually dumb enough to pay him. It was ridiculous. Apparently Angie just snuck it when Jared wasn't home, but not me! What a mean older brother...but smart! Anyway, the Wii is really fun and we had a good time playing with Carson. After the kids went to bed we played Ticket to Ride. Around 11:00 p.m. Elsie decided that she was done sleeping and woke up crying. It took us about 2 hours to get her to fall back asleep. She wouldn't sleep in the pack-n-play, so we finally put her in bed with us. Oh, it was a miserable night. She had a cough and Aaron and I were so uncomfortable. The worst part about it was that I had made a picture appointment for her on Saturday morning. I was so worried that she was going to be grouchy...and she was! We went to the mall to get the pictures and she wasn't having it. They suggested we give it a try a little later in the day, so we walked around and ate some lunch. Then she was better and we ended up getting some cute pictures. We did a little shopping...mostly for Elsie...and headed back to ML.

Oh, and Elsie has two molars coming in right now also. Poor baby!

Maybe I'll see you at the gym? Which one did you join? I'm dying to meet Elsie.

Kids not sleeping at home is the reason I talk myself out of going places. Sorry she had a bad night. I'm glad the pictures turned out cute. I hate that we have to travel for quick kid pictures. I've stressed over that for years.

I love shopping for one year olds. There's always cute stuff!

I feel your pain on the teething thing. I can't believe how old she's getting!
