So, in honor of my absolutely adorably beautiful baby girl...here are some fun pictures from the last few days. (Yes, I take pictures on a daily basis. I can't help it!)
As demonstrated in the videos in a previous post, Elsie has now started doing this face when she doesn't want what I'm trying to feed her. The funny thing is that she hasn't started doing it all the time...she knows it's funny. It's also the same face I make when swimming underwater to plug my nose. Maybe she'll do the same thing!
I love this picture of Elsie because she looks so sweet. I am really excited that it appears as though she has Aaron's skin tone. You can really notice it when she puts her hand next to mine. Yeah, I'm the freakishly pale one of the family!
This is one of Elsie's new favorite toys. She is getting really fast at putting them down. The funny part about it is that she does them in the same order all the time...blue, pink, purple, red, then orange.
Having 1:00 church is so hard. This is our second year in a row. Thankfully, it's almost over. Elsie gets so tired at church but will never just give in and fall asleep on one of us. Instead she just gets crabbier and crabbier. On the way home yesterday, I could tell she was just about to fally asleep. By the time Aaron got her in the house (I had already walked in), she was dead asleep on him. She never does that! He was loving it. When we took her upstairs to get her dress off for a nap, she could hardly stay awake enough to hold her head up. What a sweetheart!

Elsie doesn't look like a boy at all! People have done this to me with all the kids and I can't see why they don't pay closer attention if they feel the need to comment. That's so good that you take pictures every day, I truly need to get better at doing that. They change so quickly and it goes by so fast.

I agree - it is totally lame that you have to keep a bow in Elsie's hair to "signal" that she is a girl. Whenever Owen's wearing green, people seem really confused at his gender. Yellow was even worse! Don't guess people - just say, "What a cute baby!" and be on your way.

Elsie definitely does not look like a boy, but like you said, you were at Wal-Mart! Brayden used to get called a girl because he had curly hair! In fact, one old bat yelled (literally) that I had permed his hair?! Go figure! She is too cute!
Nice, Jared, real nice. Elsie is beautiful. I don't understand why people can't figure these things out. It's not like it's hard. There are always numerous clues just looking at a baby to figure out what gender it is.
She is so cute. And no, she doesn't look like a boy. I got that with Marlee too....some people just aren't very observant. She's gorgeous!
every mother gets it! Hendrix had earings in BOTH ears and people still called her a boy, the Boys in BLUE boy clothing always were told they were beautiful girls. People are retarded... Elsie is so beautiful she'll grow up and never have this problem again!-n
I once had Zach dressed in a FOOTBALL jersey back when he was eighteen months and had those beautiful bleach blonde curls and got the "what a cute little girl" comment for the last time! We got it a lot. Finally we cut his hair but the ringlets never came back. Ignore the dummies who can't tell the dif. Elsie is so pretty!
