So much to say

I updated my blog finally. I have a few more to do, but I'm making good progress. Yippee!

Grandma and Grandpa time

Snuggling on Grandpa while eating her eggs and watching her show. Diva!
Aaron's mom makes fabulous sugar cookies and adds a little almond extract to the frosting. Aaron loved them!! Elsie got to help make and decorate the cookies this year. We all enjoyed eating them.

Easter Festivities

We went down to Utah for Easter this year. I think this is the first time we've been down there for this holiday, and it sure was fun! Aaron's family does a big family get together with games, a pinata, and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Since Elsie doesn't really care for any candy, the Easter Bunny (and Grandma and Grandpa) brought her all sorts of toys and fun things to play with.
Elsie had to wipe away the grass on the egg. So Elsie!!
So proud!

She found almost all the golden eggs that had money inside. She loved having more coins to add to her piggy bank.

Elsie with Aaron's cousin's daughter (is that a second cousin?), Keera. They were best buddies all day long.

All the kids were playing a little game where they would run around and try to get each other's bunny tails. Elsie had no interest. All she wanted to do was sit and eat her chips.
Can you tell who was getting a little grumpy?
What a great day! Thanks to all those family members that planned and organized all the fun.

March

What did we do in March? It's been so long since I've blogged that I can't really remember.

Elsie rediscovered her love of cupcakes. I had to make some for Mutual and Elsie went to town on them.

Elsie became obsessed with coloring with markers. She's too cool for crayons now. (Oh, she also loves the way her hair looks when I take it out of a braid. She calls it "crazy hair.")

Elsie and Olivia had some playdates. They sure have a good time when they are both in a good mood. It's not always a guarantee with a 3 and 4 year old.

Having a picnic and watching "Princess and the Frog"

cat poo

Aaron loves our lawn. He takes great pride in taking care of it and having it look nice. I'm so grateful he loves doing that kind of stuff! But there are some neighborhood cats that have decided our yard is their litterbox. It gets him so riled up!! We definitely didn't have this problem when we had Wrigley.

I just love this picture of Aaron scooping up poop while still in his nice work clothes. He couldn't wait to clean it up.

To "dye" for!

Aaron and I love dying Easter eggs. In fact, Aaron really gets into it. There's nothing like the smell of vinegar and bright colors to get you in the mood for Easter.
