good times

I just took Gary and Sylvia to the airport this morning and was sad to see them go. We really did have a wonderful weekend with them. They loved playing with and watching Elsie, and they were also a big help in keeping her happy. It was nice for me to have lots of company and help during the day. We did a lot of shopping, ate good food, took Wrigley out to the pond, and went to the pumpkin patch. Most of the good pictures are on Gary's camera, so I'll have to post pictures later tonight or tomorrow after he sends them to me!

Grandma loves to make Elsie giggle!!
We went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday lunch. We all ate way too much, but it was to good to resist.
Grandma and Grandpa loved watching Elsie take her bath. She loves the water and could stay in there forever if I would let her. The only problem is my knees start hurting from sitting down on the ground. I guess I'm getting old! It was such a nice day when we took Wrigley to the pond. It is so fun to watch him swim out in the water and fetch his floatie thing. We took a nice walk around the park as well. Elsie loved it, of course, because she was held the whole time...mostly by Grandpa!
Elsie loved the stem of her pumpkin. She kept trying to eat it.
I don't know that she liked sitting in the dirt among the pumpkins. She wouldn't smile in any of the pictures.Aaron, Elsie, and I at the pumpkin patch. Elsie with Grandpa and the giant pumpkins. Too cute!
I leave for Connecticut tomorrow and am very excited. It's been fun having this trip (and this past weekend) to look forward to. One of the things I'm most excited for is to see Mitch since he hasn't even met Elsie yet. I'll have lots of pictures and stories to tell, I'm sure.

Hey Kim! This is Ash! Man this is my first time actually being on this blog thing and i really enjoy it! I love reading your thoughts although a lot of them make me miss you guys even more, ha ha. School is going pretty well right now, its swim that is kickin my butt though. Sometimes my heart even hurts after practice. It's intense, but it's worth it! Sometimes i wish that i was grown up already so i could travel everywhere and spend more time with family. Alas, i am still stuck in high school. It will be over soon enough though. Guess what? I get to go to Mexico for a week with some laurels in my ward for a service project in November! (Wow that was definately a run on sentence.)I am so excited! It's going to build my testimony so much! Kim you are such a strong person and your powerful spirit is very evident! I just love you so much! I'm so glad that you are a part of my life! I hope you continue to have happy days and don't get to discouraged about the bad ones. Life really is hard and i cry a lot too(like you), but that's why we have the Savior, our families, our friends, and so much more! Well sorry if this was lame, I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the matter. I love you guys so much and i miss you! Give Elsie a kiss for me! Bye.
